Calm Strom

A Baltic porter can hardly be described as a light style. We envisioned an extreme interpretation of this high-alcohol, malt-centric lager as well. Only when held up to the light does a faint ruby glow reveal itself; otherwise, it appears pitch black.

During the refresh of our core range, Calm Storm was the last to be updated. Thanks to a new yeast and a revised malt profile, its aroma and flavor have become even more dried-fruit-forward, even creamier, and even more caramel-driven. Beyond the recipe, the label also received a subtle facelift—but only a gentle touch, as this beer is an iconic cornerstone of our lineup.
